Resumen

Trabajo Social en Salud: Intervención, Humanización y Bienestar Integral (Tomo 1) es una obra especializada que aborda el papel fundamental del trabajador social dentro del campo de la salud desde una perspectiva integral, ética y fundamentada en derechos humanos. El libro articula los fundamentos teóricos e históricos de la profesión con la evolución del modelo biopsicosocial y los determinantes sociales de la salud. A lo largo de sus tres capítulos, examina las competencias profesionales, el diagnóstico social y la coordinación interdisciplinaria; profundiza en los procesos de acompañamiento, la centralidad del paciente y el rol clave de la familia y las redes comunitarias; y analiza las tendencias emergentes en la gestión sociosanitaria, la práctica basada en evidencias y el impacto de la transformación digital, la teleintervención y la inteligencia artificial. Se presenta como una guía analítica y metodológica imprescindible para estudiantes, docentes y profesionales dedicados a humanizar los servicios de salud y promover el bienestar social.
